Went out with Julie last night for a beer (or three), and now Amy's upset. Not that we went out so much, but that I didn't call her back when I said I would. OK. Fair enough. But I DID call her like 5 times yesterday, including when I got home and before I went out (she was having dinner with her Mom and Nola). Oh well...it'll all be good when they move up here. So we had a couple of pretty good discussions at Metro last night, both involving food: so if you were a doughnut, which doughnut would you be? I had a tough time with that one, and I'm still not sure. The other one was: if you the person you're married to, going out with, etc. were a cereal, which cereal would they be. After alot of debate, i finally decided Amy would be oatmeal. Why? I'll let you think about it...explanation tomorrow.

SO Friday was a good day. Amy and I went out with Julie, this guy Greg from work, this other guy Joe from work, and Erin, who's co-oping this summer at work. It was First Friday here in Augusta, so there were a ton of people out. Joe was scamming on Erin (who's quite the little hottie, by the way). They don't seem that compatible, though...at least to me. Joe seems reallyyoung...acting, I mean. And Erin seems a lot older than she is. She's working on her degree in Mechanical Engineering, so I'm thinking she has the big brain.

Oh yeah...we went MTB riding in Modoc, SC on Thursday. A lot of fun (only crashed once), but damn am I out of shape. It was raining, but the forest we were riding in was so dense that I hardly even felt it.

So back to Friday...we all met for drinks at Metro. It was pretty crowded and loud. I started off in this really mellow, quiet and listening mood, which is sort of my default. But it ended up where I was this funny, witty guy that everyone was laughing with. Which was pretty cool, since I'm so not like that. Thank you, Prozac, thank you! So then we walked around downtown for a while. People watching is so much fun. Saw this one chick...probably 6'2 and fit...long black hair with red highlights, wearing all black (tight pants and tank top), with lots of metal studs, belt etc. And these really cool elbow-length black skeleton gloves with spikes on the knuckles. She was one interesting-looking girl...like she should be playing bass for Whit Zombie or something.

Sunday we took Nola out in the Canoe and paddled around for a while...did a little fishing ("Dadda catch fish!). And at breakfast yesterday morning, the little monkey blew scrambled seggs out of her nose. Hi-larious!

Thought for the day...why aren't there any obese little people (dwarfs, midgets, whatever)?
